They all said it would rise by 30 (minutes), but that didn’t happen for me. So I waited… and waited… but just waiting is a waste of time.

The environment wasn’t warm enough to rise, so I changed the environment (with a space heater).

It took 4x longer than the internet chefs said, but patience is a virtue.

But only when I lit the fire did things happen quickly (30 min in the oven).

Three times I almost quit because at various stages it didn’t look/feel right.

But I wasn’t about to be defeated by bread, or anything else I want to do.

And now I’ll eat for days.
